Side Note: We expanded our grocery budget by $30 this month and spent $22.56 less than budgeted and the total savings on the receipt from "club member", coupons & double coupons was over $22!!!! Also, this was my first experience with coupons...I saved $5 in coupons!! I shopped with the previous months "$75 budget" in mind...so I think that helped, too. But in looking over all the grocery receipts from August, we drank 16 gallons of milk - since our refrigerator only holds two gallons at a time, I'll have to head back to the store before my next "shopping trip" - just to get milk! But I still have my grocery card...
Does this count as a "no spend day"? - I didn't spend cash.... Hmmm, I'll have to think about that.
